We don't use single-use plastic products and give our best to make travel as sustainable and ecological as possible. Become part of a better world and travel without wasting resources!

Electricity

Our apartments use green electricity from Green Planet Energy, which is produced from 100% renewable sources.

Cleaning

For cleaning we use effective, environmentally friendly cleaning agents and detergents, mainly from the label Everdrop. We don't use chemicals and unnecessary single-use plastic packaging, as it is standard in hotels.

Toilet and kitchen paper is made from unbleached bamboo from Smooth Panda. Bamboo grows much faster than wood (up to 3 meters per day) and therefore offers a good, environmentally friendly alternative. Our guests are thrilled!

Cosmetic products such as shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are provided. The packaging is 95% recyclable just as our refillable hand soap.

Waste
We do waste separation and recycling. Our garbage bags are not made of plastic, but rather biodegradable. Thus we save up to 3200 plastic garbage bags per year!

There is no planet B!

Last year we made the world a little more plastic-free!

80kg of plastic were fished out of the sea for us by The Honu Movement and sent to trustworthy recycling systems. That is just as much plastic waste as an adult produces on average each year.

Due to the pandemic, we have had a tough year with many restrictions and closings of our apartments. Therefore it was unfortunately not possible for us to start the year 2022 again with a donation to The Honu Movement.

We are full of hope for a better year and a good season in 2022 and we keep our goals!

Thanks for your support!

About us

dream green Apartments

We plant a tree for every guest

who stays with us for a night!

Book your apartment with us and together with Plant for the Planet we will plant one tree for you per night and per person. Since 2022 we have been planting trees with organizations via Plant for the Planet to absorb CO2. According to estimates, one hectare of forest (approx. 700 trees) absorbs an average of 11 tons of CO2 per year in the first 20 years, i.e. almost 16 kg of CO2 per tree per year and thus contributes to improving the climate and slowing down climate change.
